  2. I feel like pop music turns out lie that. I don't like pop music, or rap music. For that reason. It's fake, it's not the right message to show to your fans.

  3. I think that Jay-Z is the ring leader.
My favorite artist: Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Travie McCoy, Wiz Khalifa are not member. I think that the free mason as pretty crazy & i hate the whole idea of the illuminati because i am a music business major & i would hate to have a client that is in it

  8. I just Googled the Illuminati, and what i came across is that they believe in New World Order and want totalitarianism. This scares me a little bit because of that reminding me of 1984 by George Orwell, and how Big Brother controlled every aspect of their lives, public and private. Is that what the Illuminati is all about? Yes Google is giving me answers but about the emotional aspect of it...what is it that they stand for? what do they believe in? Why is it that most of the members are either R&B, Hip-Hop, or Rap ( a few outside of these genres, but the majority consists of those groups). One thing I do not understand is how Lady Gaga is a member. Her whole image is showing her sex appeal, creativity, and being DIFFERENT. From what I am getting out of this is that they all want the world to be controlled by a power that makes everyone the same and controls their every move. This makes absolutely no sense to me because she is saying how she wants everyone to be the same, while her whole image is being different ?!?!?!?!? whatttttt?

  9. I feel it's of human nature to question and refuse to accept complacency, to continue the search for ultimate truth. As a race we are inquisitive and always seek more, looking to better ourselves, but this trait in hand with colorful imagination pays help to conspiracies. So personally I think this is a bunch of bull, historically there has been an Illuminati society, but c'mon, do you think Jay-Z is bent on establishing New World Order? Regardless, as a concept it's very interesting and entertaining but I feel like it's chasing shadows.

  10. I’ve watched plenty deception videos... and it’s crazy how they compare almost EVERY SINGLE ARTIST to masonry... I mean some of the contexts in the stories make sense and he brings up valid points, but I think that the guy that has “all the proof” is looking into alittle to much!

  11. I think to hear that there is so many clebs that are involed in the illuminati is kinda crazy.. i'm not really sure what it means but i think is means that they are going to take over the world one day? i'm not very sure.

I do know that Tupac was killed for trying to get out of that group. He had made a ablum and it was called "The Don Killuminati" and this mean kill illuminati.. there for I'm guessing they say this and reacted to it in a negative way.

In these modern days the muber of clebs in this now is crazy.. such as Kanye west, Eminem, Jay z, Rhiana, Beyonce, Nas, Dr dre, Cypress hill

  12. I think its stupid. Illuminati is over used, and often misused term. I have done SOOOOOO much research on illuminati and bilderberg group and all the globalist stuff.

The icons in pop culture are just other fans of that hopped on board with everyone else specifically for popularity.

The illuminati is only brought up by Jay Z and Lady gaga so that they STAY POPULAR!!!!!!

you want to know about real illuminati. look up the Georgia Guidestones, look up Bilderberg group, look up Globalist Agenda. Look up new world order.

    WATCH A DOCUMENTARY: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-CrNlilZho

even if these celebs were in the i8lluminati it wouldn't make any difference to how we live. we would never actually know who is or isnt a part of it.

  13. i feel that all the stories about artist being in illuminati is not true and silly. though i do believe there is a real illuminati group, but not every famous person is part of if. i feel that all the so called "evidence" they have of people being illuminati, i think all of that i just a cowincedence.plus, i also feel that people a big deal out of it for nothing. ok jay-z and other artist may worship the devil, so what. them doing that doesnt change the fact that these artist have great talents. so devil worshiper or not im still going to listen to the artist music, plus them worshiping the devil doesnt effect me so why waist my time careing what they do in their own time.

  14. Charlie and Abby are bringing up some pretty interesting points. Do you guys think Charlie's assertion that this is part of our human nature is accurate?

A few of you are mentioning issues of icons and iconagraphy too. It is interesting, considering that many world religions oppose idoltary, that we "worship" celebrities and care so much about what celebrities worship. I think Christian is getting to this idea: that we need to realize that we are supposed to be praising and "purchasing" their talent and not the entire identity of the person. Our media doesn't really help with this probelm. For some reason, the craft and talen are not the whole product. What does it mean that the artist, the whole person, becomes a "product"?

Domenic, after reacting a bit, brings up some issues about consumption too. He seems to be making the claim that celebrities and celebrity culture only "half" understand the messages they may be sending out. Do you think this is true of America? Abby and I were discussing the film Eat, Pray, Love (and the book released prior to its film incarnation); in this text, yoga is glorified as a way to peace. While the practice of yoga is--in my opinion--totally awesome, it is not a clear path to perfection, peace, mysticism, and everything else. Its practice in the states is very different from its practice abroad. For instance, the type of yoga I practice is traditionally only done by men when they reach the age of 50 because, historically, that's the age they were going to die near. This type of yoga was intended to "be selfish before death"--the men left their families and lives and just lived with themselves so that they could truly understand themselves before they died. What? That's not how we practice it at all.

Ideas, faiths, and religions get "packaged" just like any other product. The issue becomes more complicated when the "product" (religion / ideas) are being "sold to you" by antoher product (the artist or celebrity).

I think you can develop your answers and think about WHAT THIS REVEALS ABOUT OUR CULTURE or, as Charlie is starting to do, WHAT THIS REVEALS ABOUT HUMAN TENDENCIES.
