If the whole is equal to the sum of its parts than our "whole" cannot be reached until our parts are gathered and acknowledged. This blog will act as a collection, a gallery that records our “parts and particles” (our particulars) in an effort to connect the dots; to endlessly connect the dots.

ReplyDeleteYes!!!! I feel way more comfortable with you all than I do in my math class. I really appreciate that I was able to let my feelings out and that you guys didnt react how I think people will. I am really happy that we all seem to feel a comfort zone within this calss, and how we all are so understanding and open to knowing who each of us are. Does anyone feel like we've opened up too much? Sometimes when I think about revealing myself, I feel as if once it is out I have nothing left to me. I feel as I come off as if I have nothing to dig deeper into. But I do!
ReplyDeletei feel as if we all got close and i am closer to the people in here than i am with those in math. As a class we got along well and had meaningful conversations. I am glad i had this experience.
ReplyDeleteThis may sound like really deep but i have a hard time letting people know who i am or revealing too much because i have no idea who I am at all. So i normally wonder what you guys think u know of me. Im not asking anyone to like tell me what thety think of me i just want u guys to know i dont know myself
ReplyDeleteTo me, math is the class that my perception of college was based on. Sitting in a class with all my peers quiet, the teacher talking and passing out worksheets and assigning many assignments.
ReplyDeleteENGLISH HOWEVER, really has the discussion, interactive aspect of college that I really enjoy. I feel the workshop is more like a group of friends meeting together for a study group. It was more comfortble. I really got close to people in here. I think that we really were building relationships and learning which is why I am excited for Columbia!!!!!!!
Yes we are close as a class. We all know names and not just faces like in math class. I'm glad I had you guys in my class and not anyone else cuz I don't think I would really get along with anybody else.

ReplyDeleteEveryone was very friendly in our English class. It seems like I made more friends in those few weeks the all four years at Simeon. I hope some how we can all stay in touch.
