If the whole is equal to the sum of its parts than our "whole" cannot be reached until our parts are gathered and acknowledged. This blog will act as a collection, a gallery that records our “parts and particles” (our particulars) in an effort to connect the dots; to endlessly connect the dots.
People get in trouble everyday because of the wrong doing that they don't even know about, they can image as far as they want. Some people get rewarded because of unknown things around them but this is every to much to thing about, so don't think to hard.
People get in trouble everyday because they make stupid decisons. If people spent more time thinking about what they were doing and made SMARTER decisons than the world would be a better place. People who get rewarded on the daily basis are people who are smart about heir desciosn and have either learned from their mistakes of the saw the mistakes of others and refuse to allow that to happen in their life.
people get in trouble for the decisions they make or the type of people they surround themselves with. People who dont do anything or keep themselves out of trouble are more likely to be rewarded because they have a clean sheet.
People get in trouble because they do bad things.. and i think that they have every right to get in trouble.. and i think that if someone does somthing right then they have every right to be rewarded for doing the right thing.
People normally get into trouble because they have taken a risk. I think I am a risk taker and after analyzing my past I feel like I am lucky to be alive and not in any legal trouble, and i am guessing a handful of teens could say the same. I think teens in particular find themselves saying these types of things because as adolescents we have a natural curiosity. A lot of 'trouble" has a curious base because people want to know things, especially what we aren't supposed to know or aren't allowed to know.
i dont know why. maybe its the choices that people make. i believe in the saying " think before you do" because for the most part that is the smartest choice, but i at times i do think its favoritism.
every action has a reaction... if your doing something you have no business doing, then of course your going to get in trouble for it...
and in response to the ppl doing things their not suppose too and not getting in trouble... wat goes on in the dark comes to the light... so eventually theyll get caught too...
Awards and consequence are determined not only by character but also experience. Those who understand concepts of development such as learning from mistakes, planning for the worst, organizing etc. get the spoils. But if you're unprepared it makes for bad performance, so basically make your own luck.
Ok I am very confused on the way question is supposed to be so Im just gonna go off of what everyone else is saying which is that people get in trouble for making bad decisions or letting others influence them. Some people dont usually think about the consequences that might come from a bad decision, and others just dont care about the outcome. People who get rewarded make better decisions than those who are punished. They usually think things through and way their options before making a decision.
I think that some people get in trouble because they are bored. They don't have anything to occupy their time or their minds. Sometimes they get in trouble because of poor choices. Other times because of ignorance. Sometimes its even racial. I think people get rewarded when they do the right thing, when they make good choices. Sometimes people get rewarded because they happen to be at the right place at the right time.
I think people get into trouble because A. they either don't realize what they are doing is wrong, B. simply just don't care, or C. the way they were raised. Some people just do not realize how to behave in certain situations and when stop means stop, or no means no. It is one of those things that should just be common sense, but unfortunately is not in some cases. I never understood why someone would repeat the same thing, after getting in trouble for it. Why do you think they dont learn? Do they not want to? Can they? What is in the way of adopting mature behvior?
as for being rewarded, people who get rewarded can get that from doing something good or bad. If someone got a hitman and offered him cash to kill someone and then that hitman gets payed is that not technically a reward? he is getting rewarded for doing the favor as he was told. So not all rewards are socially or morally acceptable? So maybe that could mean the same for trouble? is all trouble justifiable? do undeserving people get in trouble?
people get in troble for alot of reason. most get in troble because they do silly things and pointless things to impress poeple. alot of kids feel it cool to get in troble, when really its not. getting in troble to impress people just make you a lame.
I think this was a bit of a confusing question, which is good practice for us. What do we do when we don't know how to read or interpret something? Is it fair to tell our peer that he/she needs to explain it better?
I think we need to work with each other to help us find the language to say what we want to say. I struggle with this--especially as a poet--all the time. I say things to my partner, to my mother, or sister and they look at me like I'm crazy instead of trying to find out what kind of inner thought or experience I am having that needs their help in finding its own expression.
Terrel's question makes me think that some people who don't deserve to get in trouble do whereas other people, who might "deserve" the trouble manage to stay out of it. This is an interesting happening and makes me think about the American culture and how much we value "born again" or "reformation." I mean, when someone recovers from a drug addiciton, our country celebrates that change and improvement (we are very attached to progress as a country). However, we do not necessarily celebrate the person who never had a problem to begin with.
Perhaps your blogs would improve if you gave us some narrative examples instead of saying "there are a lot of reason" people get in trouble. We need to start working on getting specific.
Say wha?

ReplyDeleteThis makes perfect sense...

ReplyDeletepeople that get in trouble everyday should never gamble because obviously they are not good risk takers

I should have mentioned...HOW DO WE SEE THIS MANIFEST ITSELF IN THE BOOKS?
ReplyDeleteDo we see blame on people who maybe don't need or deserve blame? Do we see trouble that wasn't sought or warranted come to our characters?
