TRUE NOTEBOOKS/NFL PLAYER
This is plaxico Buress, he was arrested for allegedly shooting himself in the leg. This relates to "true notebooks" due to the fact that he and the boys in the book are currently in jail. Though both are in jail they are taking the steps to bacome better people. They have alot of passion to become better but are put into a catergory of being bad people because of the wrong decisions they made.

This is kind of a weak connection. I see that they are both in jail, but what makes this story like True Notebooks? Look at the contexts, circumstances, and details of both scenarios to get a better correlation between the material. Right now, you've just shown me two people who are in jail.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were talking, we discussed that sometimes athletes get to "get out" of going to jail because they have money, better lawyers and connections; the boys in True Notebooks do not have this luxury. You need to look at these kinds of circumstances.
Also, what is Buress' conext? Why did he do this to himself? We can guess why some of the boys committed crimes (based on their essay writing), but can we with Buress?
You need to work harder to see and build relationships and then make those relationships matter.
